Gili TrawanganA week ago in Gili Trawangan Luca had an idea to go to Gili Meno by canoe.
First, I am silent, then I said yes, but if we can find a canoe for 2 persons.
The next morning we were walking and looking for the canoe but we couldn’t find it.
Luca was looking at me and said “Lek, let’s try one each, if you can’t do, just tell me”.
I can do it. I can do it. I keep telling my self after I hear that sentence.
My heart start feeling fear but I said to myself “I must try it maybe I can do it”.

“Sabay Dee” Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang  night market start from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. everydayLuang Prabang March ,2007
Along the way from Vientiane to Luang Prabang by bus it’s such a long trip as it’s up and down and up and down the hills.
The narrow way on the hill doesn’t make me feel afraid but it made me more excited when I saw the village along the road with the simple houses made from wood and made me realize how simple life of the people on the hill.

Luang Prabang Monks and saam naehnI feel really excited because this is the first time I will be to Luang Prabang, the city of a beautiful temple and the city with lots of monks in the morning for putting rice for a happiness in our next life.
I start thinking if I’ll be there one day in the morning I will put the rice for their monks.

Padang Food

Many Choices of Padang Food Quick, simple and not too expensive: this is our slogan.

I am talking about “Padang Food” . This is not Balinese food but it’s very common here anyway.
This kind of food tastes like some kind of Thai food, a lot of coconut milk with curry. For sure this kind of food can make you wake up as it’s spicy but it’s up to choose the food, so becareful!
There are many choices: fish, chicken, pork, shrimp, boiled egg, soft tofu or fried tofu (all menu with curry, fried or deep fried with curry) boiled plain vegetable , sometime they have vegetable with curry, chili paste and many choices of sauce (peanut sauce, chicken sauce, fish curry sauce) served with steamed hot rice.

It sounds nice to hear in the quiet night of nature, of insect sound combined with a human music, becomes a nice sound of a culture and the beautiful life that you can find in here Ubud, Bali.
